Warm another tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the peppers and onions for about 5 minutes until they are soft and translucent. Add these to the bowl with the beef, seasoning the mixture with salt and pepper to your liking.
I will definitely be keeping this as one of my favorite, quick appetizers. The sauce is exceptional! I also included mushrooms, which was delicious.
We noticed how colorful these were, reminiscent of Christmas, so we prepared them for a holiday gathering. They were the best thing we have ever made.
