Place the eggs back into the pot and cover them with fresh water; incorporate the soy sauce, salt, molasses, and tea bags. Heat until boiling, then lower the flame to simmer for approximately 30 minutes until the eggs take on the color. Turn off the heat and allow the eggs to sit in the liquid while it cools down to room temperature.
Simply incredible! One of the best items I have found on this site. It is very labor-intensive (don't rush the cooling process!) but every bit of effort is worthwhile. I will be making this many times in the future.
The effort involved was significant just for salsa and eggs. These are best suited for their appearance rather than their taste.
