Submerge the eggs in a pot filled with water. Boil the water, turn off the burner, and allow the eggs to remain in the hot liquid for 15 minutes. Drain the hot liquid and substitute with cold water, letting the eggs rest for 15 to 20 minutes to chill. Discard the water. Use a gentle hand to roll or tap the eggs on the work surface until the shells are fractured but remain in one piece.
Simply incredible! One of the best items I have found on this site. It is very labor-intensive (don't rush the cooling process!) but every bit of effort is worthwhile. I will be making this many times in the future.
The effort involved was significant just for salsa and eggs. These are best suited for their appearance rather than their taste.
