This yields a large quantity, so you might consider halving the recipe, which I’m glad I did. It’s a nice mix of flavors. Next time, I would hold onto the bean liquid and use that instead of water. I also felt it needed more salt to really bring out the flavors. I’m a fan of cilantro, but in the future, I’d omit it and let the chipotle be the star.

I prepared this, and my family really enjoyed it. I used the liquid from the chickpea cans instead of water and added one and a half chipotle peppers for a bit more heat.
