Combine the yolks with the shallot, salmon, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, along with salt and pepper, blending until smooth. If the texture seems too thick, incorporate extra mayonnaise. Fill the egg white halves with the mixture and serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.
I wasn't impressed at all. We hosted a large party, and most of the appetizers were left over.
Simple recipe for deviled eggs, and they taste great! I used the full measure of mayonnaise, and really enjoyed the garlic notes.
Commenting specifically on the mayonnaise component: It doesn't taste exactly like what you find at the grocery store. It's tasty, but not necessarily the best I've had.
