Step 2 of 3
Combine butter and brown sugar in a bowl suitable for the microwave. Heat on High for sixty seconds or until fully melted. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and pecans. Place in the fridge for an hour, mixing periodically to prevent the butter and sugar from separating.
So tasty! We are big garlic fans, so the recommended amount was perfect for us. The flavor seemed to grow on people; they were hesitant at first, but kept coming back for more.
This was a crowd-pleaser, but I'm giving it 4 stars because the garlic level was far too high. Also, the brown sugar topping set so hard in the fridge that it had to be warmed up to spread properly. Still, the flavor combination is great, and I will remake it with less garlic.
One of my guests said he could eat it forever, which really encapsulates how we feel about this dish. It sounds unusual, but you should definitely step out of your comfort zone and try it. This will certainly become a permanent part of our party snacks.
