I am puzzled by what happened because this didn't taste right for me. I adhered to the steps strictly, including discarding the yolks, though looking back, maybe keeping them would have improved it. The taste profile didn't mesh well for my palate, so I am relieved I only prepared a small portion. I look forward to seeing if anyone else has a better experience with this dish!
