Fry the bacon strips in a spacious pan set to medium-high heat, flipping them periodically for roughly 10 minutes until they reach a uniform golden-brown. Transfer to paper towels to remove excess grease, then break into small pieces once they have cooled down.
Prepared these using my own chickens' eggs for a girls' night in. Delicious! Everyone loved them. I personally swapped in freshly chopped parsley and used freshly cracked pepper.
Great recipe! I attempted to pipe the filling using a pastry tip, but my bacon bits were too coarse. If you plan to use a piping tool, ensure your bacon is minced very finely!
I included some diced onions and increased the amount of bacon. Absolutely tasty!!
