Submerge the eggs in a pot filled with water. Heat until boiling, then take off the burner and allow them to sit in the water for a quarter-hour. Transfer the eggs out, rinse them under cool water, and remove the shells.
Prepared these using my own chickens' eggs for a girls' night in. Delicious! Everyone loved them. I personally swapped in freshly chopped parsley and used freshly cracked pepper.
Great recipe! I attempted to pipe the filling using a pastry tip, but my bacon bits were too coarse. If you plan to use a piping tool, ensure your bacon is minced very finely!
I included some diced onions and increased the amount of bacon. Absolutely tasty!!
