Submerge the eggs in a pot filled with enough cold water to cover them. Heat until boiling, then immediately take off the burner. Put a lid on the pot and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes.
Very simple.
It's a very straightforward recipe, and the flavor is superior if you fry your own bacon rather than using pre-cooked bits. I also prefer to hand-grate my own cheese. My family has requested these for nearly a decade now.
