Ingredients
- *2 pounds lean ground beef
- *1 cup bread crumbs
- *⅓ cup ketchup
- *2 large eggs, beaten
- *2 tablespoons soy sauce
- *¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- *½ teaspoon garlic powder
- *1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
- *1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce
- *2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste
- *1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
Step 1
Set your oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Step 2
Combine ground beef, eggs, ketchup, bread crumbs, garlic powder, soy sauce, and black pepper in a large mixing vessel until thoroughly incorporated. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a nonstick sheet for baking.
Step 3
Bake in the heated oven for approximately 30 minutes until browned, making sure to flip them halfway through.
Step 4
In the meantime, mix the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, cranberry sauce, and lemon juice inside a large pot; stir while heating over low heat until the mixture is uniform. Drop in the meatballs and let them simmer for an hour. Serve while hot.
