Arrange eggs in one layer inside a pot, adding enough water to submerge them by an inch. Bring to a boil on high, then cover and take off the heat, allowing them to soak for fifteen minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water, and peel once chilled. Slice lengthwise, remove yolks into a bowl, and combine them with minced garlic using a fork.
I really enjoy this recipe and often make a smaller batch for breakfast. Since I eyeball the ingredients rather than measuring, I can't comment on the basil amount, but the flavor combination is incredible—you should try it yourself.
