Step 4 of 5
Take the pan out of the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Gently spread 1 1/4 cups of sour cream over the surface. Put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes. Let it cool entirely on a cooling rack, then chill in the fridge for several hours or overnight.
This was fantastic! I prepared it as a starter for our "gourmet" dinner club and it was a huge success. I followed the instructions exactly as written. The consistency was creamy, and it featured just the right amount of bleu cheese tang. I garnished it with a colorful mix of diced bell peppers and green onions, which created a festive and beautiful presentation. It’s fairly quick to whip up provided your ingredients are at room temperature. I will certainly make this again whenever I want something unique.
Exquisite. I incorporated chopped walnuts into the batter, which provided an earthy note to the profile.
I whipped this up for a holiday gathering, serving it alongside crackers and cocktail bread. The guests loved it; they took small portions and spread it on their crackers, eating it much like a standard cheesecake. The texture and taste were wonderful. I've already shared the recipe with a dozen people!
