Take the pan out of the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Gently spread 1 1/4 cups of sour cream over the surface. Put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes. Let it cool entirely on a cooling rack, then chill in the fridge for several hours or overnight.

This was fantastic! I prepared it as a starter for our "gourmet" dinner club and it was a huge success. I followed the instructions exactly as written. The consistency was creamy, and it featured just the right amount of bleu cheese tang. It’s fairly quick to whip up provided your ingredients are at room temperature. I will certainly make this again whenever I want something unique.

I whipped this up for a holiday gathering, serving it alongside crackers and cocktail bread. The guests loved it; they took small portions and spread it on their crackers, eating it much like a standard cheesecake. The texture and taste were wonderful.
